Yeah, I know, not accessible
Recently, I posted some resources from a recent accessibility conference. And the post has become fairly popular. Which scares me.
You see, I created and designed this site when I was unemployed about six years ago. I needed an online portfolio of my web work, so I through this site up. It serviced me well; I got a job. Since then, while I intended to post on web experiences, my blog is fallen on hard times (content-wise).
Then came the conference. I posted my take, along with links to presentations, notes, etc. Shortly after I posted, a wave of grief came over me. So I ran my A11Y Check WordPress plug-in, and sure enough, I had accessibility issues (more like validated what issues I knew was there already).
So if you notice that my site isn’t as accessible as it should be, I’m aware, and working on it. And I promise to have a site I’m proud of before the Cubs win the world series. 🙂
